Touch ID Board requires a Heat Sink and Thermal Gel to complete repair.

After you replace this part, Repair Assistant will be available on the device and is recommended to finish the repair. Follow the instructions in the Repair Manual for this repair type.

Note: To calibrate with Repair Assistant, your Mac must be running macOS 26.
